USB to serial adapter

There are USB to serial adapters in the lab provided on an as-is basis. They only work with some PCs (and we don't know of any brand that is more reliable than this one -- none of them work with every PC). You are welcome to give them a try, but we can't guarantee results.

• We are using the CablesToGo Model #26886
• Here is an .iso image of the disk that comes with the cable (if you don't know what to do with a .iso file, then just ignore this).
• You can get the latest drivers from the CablesToGo web site; go to Resources in the top bar, select Drivers, and then search on "26886" and download the appropriate driver file for your system.
• The TAs have a limited number of install disks in the lab, but not enough to give out to everyone. You are welcome to use the install disk while you are in the lab, then return it before leaving.
