TimeSys
I was the primary founder of TimeSys, a vendor of products and services to the (large but fragmented) embedded systems market. The company was established in 1996 and contines to be based in Pittsburgh (Carnegie Mellon's hometown). 17 years! Most startups apparently fold in fewer than 5 years.
