about me

Gihyuk Ko is a Ph.D. Candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. He is fortunate to be advised by Anupam Datta and Matt Fredrikson. He recently received M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, on the way to his Ph.D. Prior to joining CMU, he received B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Seoul National University in 2012. He is a member of Accountable Systems Lab and CyLab.

research

Gihyuk's research is primarily focused on efficiently verifying various properties (e.g., privacy, fairness) of machine learning programs. As a result, he is interested in formal methods, security and privacy, and machine learning.
