Deepanjali Mishra
Ph.D. Candidate
Carnegie Mellon University
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department at Carnegie Mellon University, where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Akshitha Sriraman.
My research investigates how hardware and software should be co-designed to enable the next generation of high-performance, energy-efficient computing systems. I design cross-layer techniques spanning processor microarchitecture and system software to address the challenges posed by emerging data-intensive and AI-driven applications.
Previously, I was a Research Fellow at Microsoft Research India, where I was fortunate to be mentored by Dr. Vivek Seshadri, who introduced me to research and inspired my interest in computer architecture. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India.
