+===== Special Message for the Covid-19 Cohort (Apr 30, 2020)=====
 +
+Courses at CMU have well-schooled you in solving problems with solutions. A harder problem is merely one that takes more work. The real-world engineering problems you will be solving after CMU will not be so thoughtfully prepared with answer keys.
 +
+As time goes on, the responsibilities of adulthood will also place you into increasingly difficult and uncontrollably life situations with no good solutions. Sometimes one must simply take the penalty. Kindly, life has a curious way of preparing you for each more unbearable burden with just the right experience from the previous.
 +
+Unfortunately, at this time, you are thrown into an unprecedented predicament with zero preparation. For what it is worth, at 50, I am no more prepared for this. However, experience has given me the conviction that it will pass. We need to  keep moving forward to put ourselves in the best of positions, win or lose, to continue on after.  Life goes on, ready or not.

You might be tempted to think by overloading you are getting more “units” per dollar (of tuition) out of CMU.  Don’t confuse that with how much learning and retention you are getting for your dollars.  Overloading is not worth it. You might be tempted to think by overloading you are getting more “units” per dollar (of tuition) out of CMU.  Don’t confuse that with how much learning and retention you are getting for your dollars.  Overloading is not worth it.

There are so many different courses you could take as an ECE undergrad at CMU. This can get really confusing. The suggestions below are simply a representation of what “I” would have taken had I been an undergrad in ECE today. There are so many different courses you could take as an ECE undergrad at CMU.
