I am Venkat Raman Senapati ( VRS ) , a Masters student in Electrical & Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University (expected graduation Dec 2011). I was a Research Assistant to Prof. Asim Smailagic in Spring 2011. In Fall 2011 I shall be the Teaching Assistant to Prof. Yang Cai for the Multimedia Computing course. I did my Bachelor of Technology in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology Warangal,India in 2008. After graduating I worked for 2 years as Design Engineer at Texas Instruments, India. My objective is to become as a Systems Software Engineer. I am interested in Embedded Software,Software systems, Machine learning, Image & video processing as well as internet technologies.I did my 2011 summer internship in the Machine Learning department of NEC Labs at Princeton. I will be joining Oracle as a full-time Software Engineer from Jan 2012.
