Introduction

Hi! I'm a Ph.D. candidate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Carnegie Mellon University. I am a CyLab student, a CUPS trainee, and a member of Eta Kappa Nu (Sigma chapter). Nearly all aspects of Computer Security are of interest to me, but I am currently focusing security and privacy aspects of mobile computing and the authentication mechanism known as passwords. In the past I have spent a considerable about of time on digital forensics, reverse engineering, offensive cyber strategies, high assurance trusted computing, and Capture-the-Flag (CTF) exercises.

I have previously worked at CERT and have been involved in teaching / research at each of CMU, NPS, and UNO.

I also originally setup CMU's Tor node, uncreatively named cmutornode (status). After more than two years managing the node and all the politics around it, the torch has now been passed to Zack Weinberg.

My Erdos number is 4
My Bacon Number is 3
Therefore, my Erdös-Bacon number (which is totally a thing) is 7.
