I am a PhD student in the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at Carnegie Mellon University. I am also affiliated with the Center for Computational Analysis of Social and Organizational Systems (CASOS). I am fortunate to work with my advisors Prof. Rick Carley and Prof. Kathleen Carley.
The goal of my thesis is to assess the global cyber and bio threat, with more emphasis on the cyber threat. My research is data-focused, and combines technical approaches and social sciences. Previously, I have worked on security protocols for sensor, vehicular and social networks.
I hold a Master and a Bachelor in Communication Systems from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne. I spent the academic year 2005-2006 as an exchange student in the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at Carnegie Mellon University.
